What made you want to join the ASTRO Foundation Board of Directors?

For the last ten years I have seen the amazing work Astro does so I have always looked for a way to help a bit more and this was my chance.
 
Where do you live?

My family and I live in Manteca, CA.
 
Tell us a little about your day, what do you do, what have you done?

I am a hotel General manager and spend my days being hospitable.
 
Are you currently participating in any other organizations or associations?

Not at this time although I did spend 10 years as a Girl Scout Leader back in the day as well as two years as the President of the Manteca Chamber of Commerce.

What unique talents and skills do you bring to the board?

I am steadfast and resilient. I possess the ability to be warm and approachable while maintaining firm boundaries. I am a strong and passionate advocate.

We would love to hear about your family, starting with your pets…

I have three dogs and two cats. They are all amazing but one of the pups, a white Maltese named Riley is my heart dog. He runs my life and fills my heart.

I am married and am lucky to have my 83 year old Mom living with me.

My best friend is my daughter Sabrina. We travel together whenever possible. She makes me smile every day but better yet, she makes me laugh!
 
Finally, what excites you about being part of the ASTRO board of directors?

 

After seeing the incredible impact Astro has made in helping animals in need, I am truly inspired and honored to be part of such an amazing organization. I am passionate about contributing to a mission that gives as many animals as possible the chance to experience the love and security of a forever home. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing the joy on someone’s face when they welcome a new companion into their life, and I am excited to play a role in creating those meaningful, life-changing moments.
