How long have you been with the Board?

What made you want to join the ASTRO Foundation Board of Directors?

When I was asked to be on the board  I was a current volunteer at Astro.   I love working with the animals. 

I love what Astro is doing and I am excited to be part of their future. 

Where do you live?

I live in the country between Oakdale and Modesto.

Tell us a little about your day, what do you do, what have you done?

I have been retired for 6 years.  I enjoyed a 35 year career at the USPS. I started as a carrier,  the last 20 or so I was Postmaster in Oakdale, Manteca and then Modesto. 

In my spare time I  work part time with my husband at our Print Shop in Modesto.

Are you currently participating in any other organizations or associations?

My heart is all in for Astro.

 

Any past affiliations you would like to share? 

I was a volunteer and board member for the Stanislaus Wildlife Care Center for four years. 

That was an awesome experience.

What unique talents and skills do you bring to the board?

My experience and ability to work with people and animals of every type.

We would love to hear about your family, starting with your pets…

My husband I  have 4 dogs, 5 cats, 11 Nigerian dwarf goats, 6 mini donkeys and 2 old horses.  See why I love Astro!

We have one daughter and son in law, and soon a grandbaby. 

Finally, what excites you about being part of the ASTRO board of directors?

The president has so many awesome ideas that will forever change the lives of many cats and dogs. 

To be part of the future of Astro and what is coming is so exciting.  Changing lives one purr at a time….
